Jerry W. Brown went home on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.

Jerry was born October 2, 1939, in Goree, Texas, to Ben F. and Eva D. Brown.

He graduated from McCamey High School and attended Texas AM University and Southwest Texas University where he played football. He spent many years as a high school football coach and loved to volunteer with his kids and grandkid's sport activities.

On December 27, 1958, he married Annette Slaughter in McCamey, Texas. They were loving, devoted parents and wonderful grandparents.

Jerry had many caring friends he loved to play golf and cards with frequently. He cherished his time spent with his children and grandkids. He had a huge generous heart, never met a stranger, and adored his little dog Annie.

He was welcomed home by his beloved wife Annette Brown, his parents Ben F. and Eva D. Brown, several loved ones and friends, and grandson Cody Morris.

Those left to cherish his memories are: his sons, Terry Brown, his wife Nancy and their children Allissa, Clayton, and Kaitlyn; Robby Brown, his wife Christi and their children Jordan, Hayden, and Madison; his daughters Lorri Roady, her husband Wayne, Kenneth Phillips and their son Jared Phillips; Allison Rickerson , her husband Shane and their children Zakary and Kolter; as well as many friends and relatives.

Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Saturday, April 18 11:00 a.m. All are invited to attend.
