Jerry Newton

Jerry L. Newton, 88 of Odessa passed away Friday, September 10, 2010 at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born June 20, 1922 in Ft. Worth, TX to Bruce Colwell and Lillie Mae Ferrell Colwell. She was one of seven children and graduated from Riverside High School and a business school in Ft. Worth.

Jerry worked as a secretary for many years and the last years were spent at Pioneer National Gas Company.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Newton, her parents and all of her siblings.

She is survived by a daughter, Pat Winchell and husband, Joe of Conroe, TX two sons, Mike Newton, Tad Newton and wife Cheri,
both of Odessa four granddaughters, Mindy Miller and husband Steve, Shelly Brown and husband Chris, Chrissy Eggleton and husband Dan and Ashley Moyes and husband Clint four beautiful greatgrandchildren, Ryan, Landry, Taylor and Ashlyn.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 Monday, September 13, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jerry Berry of Kelview Heights Baptist Church officiating.
