Jessie Bass

Jessie Edward Bass Sr., of Odessa, Texas passed away on April 17, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 20th, 2014 from 12:00 pm 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Brasswell officiating, Burial will follow.

Jessie was born in Strong, Arkansas to Dock and Daisy Bass on January 22, 1939. He was married to Bonnie Mae Edwards on December 24, 1980 in Odessa, Texas.
Jessie is preceded in death by his mother Daisey Hite Bass, his father Dock Bass, son Jessie E. Bass Jr., stepson Randy Baumguardner, and brother Ivy Bass, James Bass and Charlie Bass.

Jessie is survived by his spouse Bonnie Bass of Odessa, 3 daughters Toni and Kenneth Putty of Odessa, Julie Hatfield of Whitney, Texas, Jeanie and Chris Stucks of Odessa, stepson Sammy and Kim Baumguardner of Notrees, Texas, stepdaughter Debra and Stevie Jo Richardson of Bayfield, Colorado, his sister Faye Bass of Hope, Arkansas and his brother Cecil Bass also of Hope, Arkansas, 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Putty, Jordan Hatfield, Jacona Bass, Chris Stucks, Sammy Baumguardener, and Tanner Roquemore.

The family of Jessie E. Bass wished to extend our sincere thanks to the great care givers of Home Hospice.
