Jesus Urias

Jesus Vasquez Urias, age 87, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 in Odessa.

She was born October 20, 1923 in Mexico to Leandra Ponce and Chencho Vasquez.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Acencion Ortiz in 1982 and Jesus Urias in 2002 her daughter, Lucila Gardea two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her children, Adam Ortiz, AdelFa Martinez, Alonzo Ortiz, and Nellie Aguirre, all of Odessa brothers and sisters, Lila Valenzula, Delfin Vasquez, Daniel Vasquez, all of Odessa, Carlos Vasquez of Donna, Texas, Ramon Vasquez of Liberal, Kansas and Adelina Martinez of Odessa 13 grandchildren 33 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

An Apostolic Assembly service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 3, 2010 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Carrasco, Polo Larez, Arnulfo Aguirre, Delfin Vasquez, Manuel Lara, and Alonzo Ortiz.
