Jimmie Mills

Jimmie A. Mills, age 83, of Odessa, TX, passed away on March 1, 2015 In Odessa.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 5:00-7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 1:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Byron McWilliams of First Baptist Church officiating.

Jimmie was born on September 10, 1931 to George and Sadie Mills in Chappell Hill, TX. He married Jean Hailes on October 6, 1951. Jimmie served 3 years in the Army and then went on to work for Cameron Iron Works for 36 years. In retirement Jim and Jean made many friends working in estate sales.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Jimmie is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean Mills; son, Jim Mills Jr; daughter, Debbie Morris; grandsons, Paul and Alex Morris, whom he was very proud of all their accomplishments. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws and nieces and nephews.
