Jimmy Davis

Jimmy Milton Davis was born to Luther Milton and Frankie Opal Davis on September 16, 1933 in Sweetwater, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Frances Partlow Davis of Midland son, Jim and wife Amanda Davis and children Brad and Katy of Midland daughterinlaw, Angie Davis of Odessa and children Kyle Davis and wife Emily, children Jayden Brock, and Jocelyn Kole Davis and wife Sarah and daughter, Anngelia of Graham and Larry Dale Jr. of San Angelo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Milton Davis his mother, Frankie Opal Davis Gibson his stepdad, W.E. Gibson and his son, Larry Dale Davis.

He served his country in the Korean War in the US Marines from 19521955. He loved to play golf and travel. He worked in various fields of the Oilfield, working for Arco from 19551980, he owned a roustabout company and worked for Kaiser Frances as a production foreman until his retirement.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Friday, December 28, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Myron Unruh officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Allison, Jerry Warron, Kyle Davis, Kole Davis, Larry Davis and Bradley Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Sommers, Billy Gilbert, Milton Brumley and Pete Mills.
