Jimmy Dupuy

Jimmy E. "Jay" Dupuy, 79, of Odessa, Texas passed away on March 4, 2018 in San Angelo, Texas.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Jay was born in Gorman, TX to Arno and Jamie Dupuy on September 15, 1938. He attended schools in Rising Star and Odessa. He served in the Army and upon discharge; he worked in the oil field for many years with his employment even taking him to Scotland and Alaska to run casing crews. Most recently, he was the owner/operator of Jay's Power Tongs in Odessa. Jay loved to fish and enjoyed going to Lake Amistad.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents, Arno and Jamie Dupuy.

He is survived by his sister, Margrette Chandler; nieces, Laila Chandler and Angie Reisner; and his nephew, Jeff Chandler, all from San Angelo.
