Jimmy Parker

Jimmy Dean Parker, age 83, of Odessa, TX passed away on November 30, 2015 in Odessa.

Jimmy was born on July 4, 1932 to Raymond Edward and Eva Mae Parker in Iraan, TX. He served our country in the United States Army from 1953-1954, stationed in Hohenfels, Germany. He married Joyce Jewel Whisnant on March 17, 1957.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Eva Parker, brother, Eddy Ray Parker and sister, Ada Mae Falkenbury.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Parker, daughters, Teri Shull (Nelson) of Tyler, TX and Shana Parker of Odessa, TX, son, David Parker of Odessa, TX, brother, Michael Don Parker of Odessa, TX, grandchildren, James and Melissa Goulden of Hallsville, TX, Tanaia Shull of San Angelo, TX, Nikki Boyd of Florida and Amy and Dobie Harris of San Angelo, TX, great grandchildren, Ben Arnold, Matt Arnold, Madison Harris, Christian Udeson, Joel Udeson, Sean Udeson, Caitlin Lange, Brianna Lange, Caleb Boyd, Kendall Goulden and Caleb Goulden and lots of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be at 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Bethel Assembly of God, 319 E. 42nd St, Odessa, with Pastor John VanHoose officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
