Today the world lost a beautiful and loving angel. Jo Ann Trimble Telles, 73 years of age, of Odessa, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 29, 2015.
Jo Ann is preceded in death by her father and mother Benjamin and Treacy May Trimble, and brother Benny H. Trimble.
Jo Ann is survived by her sisters, Ima Jean Trimble Jones of Webb City, KS and Vickie Ruth Trimble and Mike Nordman of Odessa, TX. She is also survived by her son-in-law and daughter Donny and Elizabeth Ann Mitchell, grandson Zackary Michael Hooper of Odessa, TX, grandson-in-law and granddaughter Ty and Kimberly Ann Hughes of Gardendale, TX, along with several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends and many, many loved ones.
She was born in Portales, NM on November 19, 1941. Jo Ann and her parents moved to Odessa, TX where she grew up and started her life with her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Mitchell. She spent many years as a baker in Odessa at several places before finding her calling as a Manager for the bakery department at Albertson's. She loved working with the community and seeing the smiling faces that would not necessarily come to buy her pastries but just to say "hi" and visit, although her cakes were loved by all. Jo Ann's life was very full with her family and friends and she was very proud of every one of them.
The Pallbearers will be Jo Ann's grandson Zackary Michael Hooper, grandson-in-law Ty Hughes, nephews Jeremy Dewayne Trimble, Cody Scott Trimble, great-cousins Jeremy Hatfield and Logan Hatfield. Honorary pallbearer is Jo Ann's nephew Christopher Nordman.
All services for Jo Ann Telles will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. The viewing will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 4:00 pm. The services will be officiated by Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell.
Jo Ann's daughter, Elizabeth would like to say "Thank you" to Nurses Unlimited and Home Hospice and all the aides, caregivers, and nurses for the wonder care that was given to the Trimble family during this trying time.
