Joanne Wilkerson

Joanne M. Wilkerson, age 85 of Odessa passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 in Odessa.

Joanne was born in Villa Rica, Georgia to James and Doris Morris on March 27, 1935. She married Harry M. Wilkerson on September 5, 1954 in Villa Rica. She worked as a bookkeeper for many companies, including Warner Bros., The Girl Scouts of America, and retired from the Village Place Apartments in 2013. Joanne was a member of First Baptist Church Odessa.

Joanne is preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents; an infant daughter; and son-in-law, Jerry Holden.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Speer and husband Kelly; her daughter, Dianne Crawford; sister, Jamie Mote of Villa Rica; five granddaughters; five grandsons-in-law; 24 great grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Stephen Stroope officiating.  Burial will follow a Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jason Hawkins, Zach Thomas, Kelly Speer, Will Culpepper, Lance Brooks, Sam Culpepper, and Zeke Stroope.
