June 22, 1936 — January 11, 2014

Joe Newton Webster, 77, of Odessa, Texas passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family and loved ones.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Joe was born in Odessa, TX, to Blanch and Newt Webster on June 22, 1936. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1954. Joe married Natoma Toni Jones on August 3, 1954 in Odessa. He worked as an operator in the oilfield and in 1972 started his own business, Joes Casing Service. In 1989 he went to Alaska where he worked in the oilfield until 2003. Because of his knowledge and great work ethics he was highly respected and became known as a legend in the oilfields of Alaska. His main role in life was that of a loving husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. One of the things he loved was playing and coaching baseball. He shared his love of sports with his sons and grandsons. Barbqueing was one of his favorite pastimes. He loved cooking for his family and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by parents Newt and Blanch Webster, grandmother Artie Mamaw Travis, who raised him, brother WL Bumper Webster, sister Katherine Green and great grandson Jayden Scott Carlile.

Joe is survived by his sweetheart of 59 years, Natoma Toni Webster, Daughters Darlene and husband Riley Williams of Odessa, Kathy and husband Larry Currie of San Angelo, Texas, Nanette and husband Bennie Carlile of Crowley, Texas, Sons Mike Webster and Joe Webster II both of Odessa. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Joe Newton Webster, 77, of Odessa, Texas passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family and loved ones.

Pall Bearers will be grandsons riley Williams II, Douglas Williams, Joseph Young, Ricky Young II, Travis Young, Chad Webster, Rocky Carlile and Scotty Carlile. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Grandson Stephen Young, Zane Webster, Andrew Perez, Chase Webster, and Granddaughters Britany Garner and Brooke Gant.

The Family of Joe Webster wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Home Hospice and all of the wonderful Nurses and staff who took excellent care of him.
