John H. Elledge was born around the area of Rains County, TX, to William Paul Elledge SR and Pearl Cooke on May 22, 1935.
He passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 4:30 AM, at Sienna.
John was a very simple man that liked to stay to himself. He was not out to impress anyone. He worked hard for his family. He loved riding his motorcycle. His greatest hobby was building guns and working with muzzleloaders. He loved going camping in the mountains with his boys and grandsons. Teaching them how to handle muzzleloaders. He is a retired machinist. He loved to tell you how to do things. He was a member of the muzzleloaders rifle club. He has several ribbons and metals from all the shooting matches that he went to.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Paul Sr and Pearl; all of his siblings; his oldest son, Johnny Elledge; and also, his ex-wife, Martha Williams.
He is survived by his youngest son, William (Bill-Bill) C. Elledge, daughter-in-law, Patricia Elledge; four grandsons and wives, Joshua and Johnna Elledge, William and Jami Elledge, Lance and Becca Elledge, and Tony Joe Elledge and Samantha of Odessa, TX; 10 great grandchildren, Joey Elledge of Oklahoma, Johnathon, Kira, Jayden, Jaxson, Tony, Matthew, Selena, Stacey, and Kylie all of Odessa, TX.
