John Massey

John H. Massey of Odessa, TX, passed away on June 3, 2021, in Odessa.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 7, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Mike Bartlett officiating.  Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

John H. Massey was born in Houston, Texas on September 13, 1932 to John Monroe Massey and Allie Geneva Swinney.  He was married to Martha Ann Massey for 65 years; she was the love of his life.

He is preceded in death by Martha Ann Massey.  Mr. Massey is survived by son-in-law, Caroll Skaggs; two granddaughters, Melisa Burnett, and Kelly Skaggs; two great grandchildren; nephew, Doyle Tapley and his wife Martha; and niece, Charlotte Beasley.

Memorials may be given to Star Hospice.  The family of John H. Massey wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Star Hospice: Cindy, Tomi, Maria, and many others who gave of the precious time to care for Mr. Massey.
