John Ward

John Garner Ward was born on November 18, 1932, in Midland, TX and left this world on June 25th, 2021.

John was born to Franklin Delaney Ward and Johnnie Ward in Midland, TX.  John went to school in Midland, and then on to Texas A&M.  He pursued a golf career during his younger years which ended up John being a club pro.  After leaving golf, John went into sales and management.

John and Charlotte Allbright Ward were married for 53 years.

John was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings.  Those that are left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Charlotte, his children, grandchildren and family and friends.

John loved to watch the Cowboys and golf on TV.  One very special fur-child is Coco Chanelle that will miss him a lot.

Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
