Johnny Kidd

Johnny Lynn Kidd, 36, of Odessa, TX passed away on August 26, 2021, at his home.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jon Hendricks officiating.

Johnny Lynn was born in Odessa on January 11, 1985, to Johnny and Robin Kidd.

He went to Permian High School and graduated from UTPB with a Business Administration Degree in 2007.  He was an avid golfer, and had the trophies and awards proudly displayed in his home to prove it.  He made many life-long friends through his time on the course.

Johnny is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Fields, and grandparents, Arvel Kidd, Robert Fitzgerald, and June McPhail.

He is survived by his children, Aubree Lea (9), Palmer Clay (6), and Witten Dwayne (3) Kidd; sister, Emily Kidd (George McKee); parents, Johnny and Robin Kidd; grandmother, Mildred Kidd; nieces, Mia and Lyla Schulte, and Charlie McKee; nephew, Jacob Fields; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Johnny Lynn lived for the time spent with his children.  He had a life-long bond with his sister Ema and treated his nieces as if they were his own.  He was the “Fun” Uncle that never knew the word “NO” when it came to any of the kids.
