Johnny Little

Johnny Wade Little, age 87, of Odessa, TX, passed away on October 20, 2014 here in Odessa.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 10:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Johnny was born on May 28, 1927 in Comanche County, TX to John Taylor Little and Ada Elizabeth Binicker Little. He was a veteran of the United States ArmyAir corp. During this time Johnny met the love of his life Lucille Mary DeFrisco. They married on October 31, 1946 in Reno, NV. Johnny was a carptenter and employed with the Samson Corp. for over 40 years.

Johnny is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lucille Little his parents, John and Ada Little one brother, William Little two sisters, Lorene Struck and Faye Sipes grandson, Rodney Kendricks.

He is survived by his son, Joe Little and wife Lisa of Odessa, TX daughters, Carol Kendricks and husband Dennis of San Antonio, TX and Pattie Gladden of Odessa, TX sisters, Odessa Vickery of Nederland, TX and Sue Loudermilk of Seymour, TX as well as 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are: Blake Medina, Bill Bartholomae, George Boon, Chris Glasscock, Johnny Kendricks and Roy Gladden.

The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr J.B. Naidu and staff, Dr John Staub and staff, Dr. Anand Reddy and Star Hospice and all of his caregivers.
