Johnny Mcgee

Johnny Lee McGee, 80, of Odessa passed away November 18, 2012 in Odessa, Texas.

Johnny was born August 14, 1932 in Jayton, Texas to Elsie McGee. Johnny worked for Star Gas for 20 years and then Eddins Walcher for 15 years. He was a devoted member of Second Baptist Church. He enjoyed restoring classic vehicles, wood working and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Elsie McGee Elliot, his wife Patsy McGee and daughterinlaw Janis McGee.

He is survived by his two sons, Jim McGee, and Jerry and his wife Nikki McGee, all of Odessa, Texas three grandchildren, Joel McGee, Jana McGee and Jody McGee two great grandsons, Taylor House and Kobe Eroles six great granddaughters Katelan House, Madison McGee, Emily McGee, Brealynn McGee, Aubrey McGee and Amelia McGee. He also survived his brothers, John Elliot of Big Spring, TX, Wesley Elliot of Garland, TX, Wixie Elliot of Coldspring, TX, Kenneth Elliot Big Spring, TX and Callan Elliot of Mason, TX.

The family visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Second Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Randy Duckett officiating, and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX.

Pallbearers will be Franky Crabtree, Randy Crabtree, Brent Daniels, Bobby Corder, Joel McGee and Jody McGee.
