Johnny Ratliff

Johnny N. Ratliff, age 79, formerly of Odessa, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2015 in Flower Mound, TX, of pancreatic cancer.

Johnny was born April 18, 1935 in DeKalb, Texas. Johnny graduated from Odessa High School in 1954 then joined the US Air Force and served for over 20 years retiring as a "Master Blaster" (Explosive Ordinance Disposal).

He is preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Edna Ratliff, his two brothers, Billy Jack and Harvey Lloyd Ratliff.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Ratliff, his son and daughter-in-law, John and Rosa Ratliff of Odessa, TX, his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Bill Beatty of Lewisville, TX, his sister, Margarette Calvit of Wylie, TX and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 10, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 am with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E. Business 20, Odessa, TX.
