Jones Burk

Jones Castillo Burk, age 68, of Odessa, TX passed away on October 26, 2015 at his residence in Odessa, TX.

Jones was born on August 29, 1947 to Antonio and Guadalupe Ramirez in Pecos, TX. He grew up in Pecos, TX and married Joan Martinez on March 2, 1973 in Odessa, TX. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1975. He served our country proudly from 1975 to 1976.

Jones was a very humble person and took care of all his kids with pride. He was a fantastic Dad with a heart of gold. He was a very hard worker and had a touch that could fix anything. He worked as an Automotive Body Technician and was known as the "Bondo King". He took great pride in his work.

Jones is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joan Burk, children, Cynthia and Ceasar Ramirez, Aaron and Janice Burk, Frank and Lisa Burk, Priscilla and Abdiel Gardea, Joshua and Erica Burk, 24 grandchildren, one great grandchild and multiple brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 30, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Frank Burk, Aaron Burk, Joshua Burk, Abdiel Gardea, Ceasar Ramirez and Rudy Ramirez.
