Jordan Medrano, Beloved husband, father, papa, brother, and son went to be with our Lord on May 17, 2021 at the age of 53. He passed peacefully in his home after days, surrounded by family and friends.
Jordan was born in Rotan, Texas to Zita and Frank Medrano on July 9, 1967.
He served the City of Odessa as a dedicated Police Officer for 28 years, retiring as a Sergeant in 2016. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren who adored him. He loved to go fishing and storm chasing any chance he got. From the young age of 12 until his mid 30’s, Jordan competed and then coached for the Odessa Boys and Girls Club Judo Team. He was always willing to help anyone and everyone, he was a mentor to his family and police family. He is best described by his family as the Joke master always pulling pranks on his kids, grand kids, and coworkers. He always drew attention with his unique clothing style, consisting mostly of camo pants and plaid fishing shirts. His gap smile and laugh were contagious and could light up a room.
