Robert Cobos, 63, of Odessa, TX graduated to heaven on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in Odessa, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 16, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Robert was born in Odessa, TX, to Trinidad Ramirez Cobos and Jesus Franco Cobos. He graduated from Permian High School in 1978. He married Diane Gotcher Cobos on December 21, 2005, in Odessa, TX.

Robert owned T.J. Rabbits Texas Music Store from 2004 to 2017. He was employed by Total Office Solution as technical support since 2018 and has worked at HEB since 2012.

Robert loved his family and friends fiercely- he enjoyed his life, he occupied the land, he was more than generous, he worked hard, he played hard, he always said he was a "tough Mexican", his kids and grandkids were his GOLD-He was the best Grampy anyone could ask for. He was immensely talented, funny, witty, and kind- He focused on his loved ones- He was more than excellent at his jobs- He was a very accomplished musician, he was a member of the bands- The Treetop Fliers, The Jarrett Everette Band and Trixie and the Bandits- he played guitar in the Odessa Christian Faith Center praise band-

He is survived by wife, Diane Cobos; son, TJ Cobos and wife Anastasiya; daughters, Jessica and husband Joshua Hirschenhofer, Robin Cobos and Joshua Pierce, Tracey and husband Seth Caples; stepsons, Jeremy and wife Kwyndala Bowen, Matt and wife Tiffany Bowen; grandchildren, Madisyn Glenn, Steven and Katrina Cobos, Alaric, Amara and Adeana Hirschenhofer, Ethan and Thea Caples, Jonathan, Sterling and Ruby Bowen, Abigail and Callie Bowen, Emmi and Jayden Odom, Carson and Berkley Riddle; sisters, Delia Allison of California, Nancy Perez of California, Irma Tesar of Kansas, and Sylvia Cobos of California.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Boccalandro, Dr. Kadir, all the Texas Tech Care Team and staff at Medical Center Hospital.
