Joshua Stearns

Joshua Edward Stearns, 27, of Odessa died Tuesday, January 15, 2013.

Josh was born July 9, 1985 in Richland Hills, TX. Josh attended elementary school in the Haltom City area and Bowie Schools. He moved to Odessa in March of 2012 after living in many cities in TX. Josh just began working for CapStar Drilling of Odessa.
Josh had many activities he enjoyed. Those include fishing, skiing, knee boarding, working on cars, cooking and outdoor grilling. He also was in the process of remodeling his home. His family described him as being a very lively person.

Josh is survived by his daughter, Gabriella Kaye Stearns of Bowie, TX, his fiance, Ashley Massey of Odessa, mother Melissa Kaminsky, of Odessa, father, Donald Stearns of Ft. Worth, 2 sister Amanda Chapa and husband Carlos of New Caney, TX and Christina Beemer and husband Jasin of Bowie, TX, grandparents Linda Keefer of Odessa and Russell and Linda Harlow of Odessa and Jimmy and Brenda Stearns of Hico, TX., close family friend, Ralph Wiant, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 17th from 6 to 8 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be 10 AM Friday at Sunsets Chapel with Rev. Ken Black officiating.
