Joyce Meadows

Joyce Darlene Meadows, age 63, of Gardendale, TX, passed away on January 4, 2016 in Gardendale.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Joyce was born August 15, 1952 to H.J. and Frances Sharp in Odessa, TX. She attended schools in Odessa and graduated from Odessa High School in 1971. She worked as a phlebotomist at Medical Center Hospital for 17 years and was currently employed by Clinical Pathology Labs. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister and friend to all.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, H.J. and Frances Sharp.

She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Meadows; daughter, Christian Bledsoe Sledge of Lubbock, TX and son in law, Guy Sledge of Lubbock, TX; son, Casey Wayne Bledsoe of Gardendale, TX; granddaughters, Dyllan Shaye Sledge of Stephenville, Cassidy Jolene Bledsoe of Gardendale; sisters, Joan Mendoza of Kerrville, TX, Jeanette New of Kerrville, TX; brothers, Danny Sharp of Marble Falls, TX and Michael Sharp of Gardendale, TX. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
