Juanita Hoover

March 12, 1925 — April 16, 2018

Juanita Hoover, 93, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on April 16, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. She was surrounded by her loving family when she went to be with her Lord. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.

Celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa with John Snider officiating.

Juanita was born in Ranger, TX to Tom and Johnnie Burks on March 12, 1925. She went to school in Cross Plains and graduated from Cross Plains High School in 1942. She married George Hoover on October 31, 1954 in Odessa, TX and they shared 63 happy years together before her passing. Juanita worked at Fancy Pants in Odessa for 30 years. She was a faithful Christian and worshipped for many years at the Eisenhower and Gardendale Churches of Christ in Odessa. George and Juanita moved to Plano, Texas five years ago and worshipped at the McDermott Road Church of Christ. Juanita was loved by all who knew her.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Boswell Burks, her first husband, Harold Browning, her son, Michael Browning, and her great granddaughter, Brea Browning.

Juanita is survived by her husband, George Hoover; her son, David Browning; her daughter, Marci Donnell; her grandchildren, Michele Broskay, Kyle Browning, Nesi Cotton, Shawn Browning, Keith Browning and Kristin Gathy;12 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and nieces, Donna Bell and Patti Bonham.
