Judith Irwin

After 98 years of living a full life, Judith Elaine Irwin passed away peacefully in her sleep August 8, 2012.

She was born August 1, 1914 to James Willard and Alberta Mae Kyees in Henrietta, Oklahoma, she was the third of fourteen children.

She married Marquis Irwin October 28, 1936 in Ft. Davis, Texas. The two of them moved to Odessa in 1957 where they remained until their deaths.

Her husband of 54 years Marquis, her son Bill Irwin, her granddaughter Karen Christianson, two greatgreatgranddaughters Addy and Lexi Rawls and 13 siblings precede Judith in death.

She is survived by her daughters Darlene Howell and Cassie Stidham, both of Odessa grandchildren Pamela Flud and her husband Benny of Odessa, David Stidham and his wife Valerie of Houston, Kelly Pike and her husband Charlie of Nevada, Kim Howell of Austin, Billy Irwin and his wife Mona of Louisiana, Bruce Irwin and his wife Dawn of Ft. Stockton, Doug Irwin and his wife Debbie of Big Springs, as well as 13 great grandchildren, and 10 greatgreat grandchildren, all of whom will miss her childhood stories of growing up in the olden days.

There will be a graveside service Friday morning at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family of Judith wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Home Hospice for their care and support.
