Julia Grainger

Julia Nan Grainger of Odessa passed away on May 24, 2008 at her residence. She was born on September 1, 1933 in Seminole, TX to William and Lucille Reynolds.

She grew up in Seminole and graduated from Seminole High School. She was a clerk at Town and Country Drug Store until her retirement. She was an active member of Sherwood Baptist Church for 38 years.

She is survived by her four children; Suzanne Bensley and husband Dan of Sherburn NY, Nanette Kelton of Odessa, Joanie Grainger, Tony Grainger and wife Dollucy of Odessa, 7 grandchildren; John and Allison Bensley, Mickey Kelton, Hannah, Tanner, Blake, and Cyrus Grainger.

Judy was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is resting in heaven now.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 29, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday May 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Sherwood Baptist Church in Odessa with Ivy Shelton officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Gaines County Cemetery in Seminole, TX.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
