Junior Leverett

Junior Van Leverett, age 88, of Clifton, TX, passed away on September 15, 2019 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, September 20, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Junior was born April 28, 1931 to J.H. and Edith Pauline Leverett in Electra, TX. He attended school in Electra, TX. Junior married Betty Jean Dean September 1951 in Electra, TX. He worked as a Drilling Foreman at Forest Oil Corp for 40 years.

Junior is preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, Betty Leverett and their daughter, Debra Jean Leverett; both parents, J.H. and Edith Pauline Leverett; two brothers, J.C. Leverett and L.E. Leverett.

He is survived by his second wife, Rose Leverett; two daughters, Katherine Ann Kay, Jodie Ilene Wright; grandchildren, Cami Ann Hamel, Jeremy Sean Kay, Lacy Morgan Wilcox, Mason Wright, Kamron Wright, Charlie Wright; great grandchildren, Avery Kay Hubbard, Ashley Kay Hubbard, David Charles Hubbard. Emma Morgan Hudson, Anthony Jace Wilcox, Natalie Elaine Wilcox, Kensington Elizabeth Kay, Dawson Wright, Gage Wright, Payton Wright, Logynn Wright, Landyn Wright, London Wright; great great grandchildren, Kayne David Hubbard and Phoebe Jane Smith; two sisters, Jeanette Bevill, Pat Reeves; brother, Fred Leverett and a very long list of cousins, nieces and nephews and very dear sisters in law and brothers in law.

Pallbearers will be Mason Wright, Kamron Wright, Jeremy Kay, Tank Prattini and Lynn Little.
