Justin Heronema

Justin Martin Heronema, age 32, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Odessa.

He was born October 16, 1979 in Lubbock, Texas to Joann and Richard Heronema, and was raised in Odessa. He married Melissa McAllister on November 12, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked all his life in the oilfield business as a machinist and welder. Through the years, he also worked as an EMT, Volunteer Firefighter at West Odessa, Dispatcher for Howard County Sherriffs office and as a horse wrangler. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, barbequing, and collecting antiques.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife Melissa of Odessa his son, Aidan McAllister of Odessa mother, Joann Heronema of Odessa father, Richard Heronema of Reydon, Oklahoma his brother, Chris Heronema and wife Joana of San Angelo his sister, Angela Sparks of Longmont, Colorado mother and fatherinlaw, Janet and Hal Freehling of Ohio sister and brotherinlaws, Wendy Hoffman, of Michigan, Bret Freehling of Florida and Joe and Paula Freehling of Michigan and many uncles, aunts, nephew, nieces and their families.

Visitation with the family will be at 9:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home, followed by the service at 10:00 AM in Sunset Chapel with Pastor Razon officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Scott Payne, J.T. Edmiaston, Nathan Latham, Dean Kyer, Chad Thomason, Donnie Harvel, Colter Sparks and Bo Watley.
