Katherine "Kate" Rylee Chorney was called home by God on October 22, 2017 in Odessa, TX.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, October 27, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Clydel Chapman, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Kate was born in Odessa, TX to Benjamin and Susana Chorney on January 24, 2002. She was a student at Permian High School. She was a member of the Permian Girls Soccer Program and Static FC. Kate was a joyful outgoing young lady who enjoyed spending time with her friends, teammates and family. She was loved by all and has gone to be with The Lord.

Kate is survived by her mother, Susana Chorney; father, Benjamin Chorney; sister, Brittany Chorney; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Chorney, Mr. And Mrs. Ricky Edwards and Mr. Bill Talley all of Odessa, TX. She also has a great number of loving aunts, uncles and cousins who she truly loved.
