Kathleen Hayes

Kathleen "Katy" Hayes, age 79, passed away on Thursday, August 17^th, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tim Hayes; and great grandson, Cason Thomas. 

Katy is survived by her daughter, Kelli Stotts, husband Michael Stotts of Odessa, TX; and daughter, Lisa Coe, and husband Steve Coe of Albuquerque, NM;  granddaughters, Gabbie Thomas, husband Casey Thomas, Samantha Billingham and husband Kevin Billingham; and great grandson, Colt Thomas.

Katy was an adored mother and Nana, who put her family first. She was an excellent cook and her Thanksgiving stuffing, chili cheese steak, and pecan pie could not be matched. 

Despite her long battle with MS, Katy was never one to complain. Her children, grandchildren, family and friends will always admire that strength. 

Special love goes out to Katy's long-time hairdresser and friend Donna Kilgore, whose Friday appointments brought so much fun and joy. Thank you, Angela and Nora and the staff at Home Hospice for their care of our mother.
