Kathlene Maberry

Kathlene Maberry passed away on February 16, 2011 in Odessa, TX, in the loving arms of her devoted family.

She was born April 29, 1950 in Hamlin, TX and was the youngest of three children born to Douglas Junior Buddy Jenkins and the late Dorothy Mae Smith. The family moved to Jal, NM in 1952. She married Eddie Smith in 1967 and together they had three children, Stephen Smith, Amy Crawford both of Jal, NM, and Dina Madera of Midland, TX.

Kathy married Dannie Maberry in 2001, and they resided in Jal, NM until her passing.

She is survived by her father, Douglas Junior Buddy Jenkins of Jal, NM one brother,
Jerry Jenkins of Stamps, AR one sister, Dana Gray of Jal, NM one son, Steve Smith of Jal, NM two daughters, Amy Crawford of Jal, NM, and Dina Madera of Midland, TX ten grandchildren, Alyssa Hunt, Haley Maberry, Colton Madera, Cooper Crawford, Bailey McDonald, JT Crawford, Chelsea McDonald, Lane Madera, Parker Ragain, and Camille Ragain.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Mae Smith Jenkins.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial celebration on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 1 pm MST at the First United Methodist Church in Jal, NM.
