Kathryn Hutson

Kathryn Hutson, age 69, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Odessa.

She was born February 6, 1941 in Dallas, Texas. Kathryn was devoted to her family and grandchildren. She has been a wonderful, loving and devoted wife and mother. She has enjoyed many hobbies while raising her children which include painting, ceramics, sewing, and gardening. Her green thumb and vegetable garden fed her family well the many years she had it. Her green house is full of flowers and plants all year round. She sewed many clothes, outfits and blankets for her children, grandchildren and friends. Kathryns cooking has been enjoyed more than shell ever know. Her Thanksgiving dressing and homemade chocolate pies can not be outdone. She has passed on many of her talents and a lot of helpful motherly advice and wisdom to her children and grandchildren throughout the years. She is dearly loved by all of her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Julian and Eunice Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Hutson of Odessa sisters, Carol and husband Rommie Frasier of Vidor, Texas and Julia and husband Dryden Smith of El Paso, Texas brother, Dale and wife Pam Williams of Vidor, Texas and many nieces and nephews her daughter, Millicent and husband Steve Perkins of San Angelo son, Kenny and wife Janyth Hutson of Odessa daughter, Susan and husband Mike Irwin, of Hickory Creek, Texas. She also had ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, August 27, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Kendrix officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
