Kay Hooper

With heavy hearts, we announce that Kay Hooper, 66, of Odessa, TX, passed away on March 1, 2023, with her husband and daughters by her side.

Kay was a woman of strong faith and left behind a beautiful legacy built on her love for the Lord. Her physical presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on through every person who knew and loved her. She is no longer in pain and there will be no more suffering. Kay is dancing on streets of gold with Jesus and that brings peace and comfort to our hearts.

Kay is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Shirley Elliott.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mike Hooper; daughters, Crystal Brown and husband Patrick, Michelle Elliott and husband Jermaine; her grandchildren, Jayden and Jacey Elliott; and her siblings, Ray Elliott and wife Kelly, Steven Elliott and wife Darla, Judy Acklin and husband Mark. Kay is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, March 6, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Lifehouse Fellowship with Jeremy Sutton officiating. Kay will be buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
