Kay Pate

Kay Lynn Cain Pate, age 63, passed away on January 1, 2015 in Odessa, TX.

Graveside Services will be at 3:00 pm on January 10, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Kay was born on September 22, 1951 to Roy and Frances Cain in Odessa, TX. She went to school in Odessa. She married Richard Pate on April 23, 1992 in Odessa. Kay graduated from Texas Tech. She worked for Hospice and worked with Master Gardeners for many years. Her husband Richard Pate was instrumental in establishing the webpage for Master Gardeners. Kay also served on ELAB and volunteered for many projects. She received many awards for her volunteer work in the community.

Kay is survived by her brother, Larry Cain; nephew, Brandon Cain; two great nieces, Madison Faith Cain and Averi Grace Cain and seven cousins.

The Cain and Pate family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone that helped with Kay. She will be missed by all.
