Kelly "K.K." Eugene Keesee

Kelly Eugene Keesee passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on May 11, 1958, in Abilene, Texas to E.W. ‘Dutch’ and Nancy Keesee. He spent most of his years in Odessa, Texas, graduated from Permian High School in 1976 and attended Odessa College. 

Kelly, nicknamed "K.K.", was a man who brought humor and laughter to everyone around him. His big personality and spirited approach to life ensured that there was never a dull moment in his presence.

He worked in auto sales for 35 years as co-owner of KK’s cars. K.K. loved fast cars, rebuilding his corvettes and never missed watching the Barrett-Jackson auto auctions. In his early years, he was an avid snow skier, loved to waterski and spending time at his lake house at Oak Creek. He was an accomplished golfer and loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends. K.K.'s love for football and golf translated to most Sundays being spent with loved ones, grilling steaks and watching the final round of a golf tournament or his New Orleans Saints chasing a victory.

Kelly’s life was marked by his steadfast dedication to family, his larger than life personality and his eagerness to help others. 

As we celebrate our time with K.K we hold tight to the love he gave, the memories we will all cherish and the laughter he inspired. His story will be one of love, family, resilience and compassion that we will all miss. Kelly's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him. 

He is survived by his son Kristopher Keesee, grandsons Klayton and Dillon, and his sister Kay Huston.

Kelly was a firm believer in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
