Kenneth Edwards Sr, age 74, of Odessa, TX, passed away on August 20, 2015 in Odessa.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, August 24, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jeff Cleere of Chapel Hill Baptist Church officiating.

Kenneth Edwards was born in Gatesville, TX on July 8, 1941 to O.Q. Edwards and Hazel Edwards. He married Carolyn Edwards on January 20, 1962 in Farmington, NM. He worked for 39 years as a truck pusher at E.L. Farmer. He is a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Kenneth was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family. He was an incredible husband, father, grandpa and friend. He will truly be missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, O.Q and Hazel Edwards, sister, Faye Edwards Crawford and brothers, Jerry Edwards and Jodie Edwards.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn Edwards; sons, Kenneth Wade Edwards Jr. and his wife Sherrie, Kevin Wayne Edwards and his wife Stacie; daughter, Kelly Renee Edwards; grandchildren, Heather Edwards, Richie Edwards, Cody Reed, Krystal Reed, Jamie Edwards; great grandchildren, Kaiden, Kyrsten, Ashlynn, Andy, Zaniel, Rex; Brothers, Ollie Edwards and his wife Betty, Billy Edwards and his wife Gwenda of Gatesville, TX; sisters, Effie Edwards Armer and her husband David, Lillie Edwards Stovall and Nancy Edwards Cole and her husband Jack, all of Gatesville, TX; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jim Spoon, Joe Spoon, Chris Spoon, Richie Edwards and Cody Reed.
