Kenneth Guillory

Kenneth Ray Guillory, 79, of Odessa, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Kenneth was born July 21, 1933 in Urania, Louisiana to Riley Ramie Guillory and Ethel Bessie Deville Guillory. He attended school in Urania, Tullos and Olla, Louisiana. Kenneth also served in the United States Army from 1953 through 1955.

Kenneth married Dorothy Ann Campbell on February 28, 1972 in Odessa, Texas. He married twice and was blessed with four beautiful children. Kenneth was baptized as a Jehovahs Witness in 1987. He started his career in the oil field industry at 17 years old in Wyoming, and retired at 62 as a Fr. Motorman. In Nacogdoches, Texas, Kenneth worked after that in oil field related jobs until he was 75 years old.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Whitlow and Bro. Oates officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Guillory sons, James R. Guillory, John R. Guillory, both of LA., and Kenneth R. Guillory, II of Midland and daughter, Ava Claypoole of FL.

Pallbearers will be Rick Ransom, Kenneth R. Guillory II, Randy Campbell, Brock Clinton, Josh Gomez and Edward Sanchez.
