Kenneth Kiker

November 21, 1929 — December 19, 2016

Kenneth Loyd Kiker, age 87, of Odessa, TX, departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on December 19, 2016.

Graveside Services will be at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Clydel Chapman officiating.

Kenneth was born November 21, 1929 to W.O. and Cegail Kiker in Rotan, TX. They moved to Odessa when he was 6 years old. He attended Odessa High School and graduated in 1948. He joined the Navy in 1948 and then married the love of his life Juanita (Griggs) on September 28, 1949 in Anson, TX. They were blessed with two sons Kenneth R and Danny N Kiker. Kenneth lived every day to love and take care of his wife Juanita until her death May 7, 2011.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, WO and Cegail Kiker, his loving wife, Juanita Kiker, his oldest son, Kenneth R. Kiker and one grandson, Jeremy D. Kiker, all of Odessa, TX.

He is survived by his son, Danny Kiker and his wife Norma of Odessa; five grandchildren, Jennifer Christie and her husband, Damien, Dustin Kiker and his wife Amber, Stacey Kiker, Kenneth Kiker, Jr., Toby Kiker and his wife Crystal, all of Odessa; nine great grandchildren, Alissa, Brooke and Scarlett Kiker, Haley Christie, Braiden and Skylar Collett, Kiley and Kalen Kiker and Trista Kiker.

Kenneth was the kindest, most genuine man I know. He loved to go to garage sales and repair lawnmowers, both of which put him in the path of many people to witness his kindness. He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
