Kenneth Scheible

Kenneth Karl Scheible, 66 of Odessa passed away on 2282012 in Odessa, Tx. after a lengthy illness.

Family Visitation will be Friday, March 2, 2012 6pm8pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in the Hope Room.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2pm at Crescent Park Baptist with Pastor David Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial.

Kenneth was born in San Diego, California to Charlie Scheible and Virginia Calvery on April 20, 1945. He spent a lot of his childhood in Fox, Oklahoma. He went to High School in Corpus Christi, Tx. He served in the Army with an Honorable Discharge. He married Patricia Jean Holston on January 14, 1965 in Corpus Christi, Tx. He was involved in the JayCees in Clute Tx. He was awarded Outstanding Young Man of America in 1975. He loved politics and was a proud member of the Democratic Party. He loved reading, gun shows, old cars and his grandkids. He was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church. He was very outgoing, and loved meeting people. He made friends wherever he went and never met a stranger. He loved God, his family and his Country. He was always proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and talked of them constantly to everyone he met.

He was Industrial Insulator, following Construction for 20 yrs. The family settled in Odessa in 1976 where he began his career at General Tire.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Carl Scheible and brother, Charles Scheible.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Pat Scheible. Son, Kenneth Karl Scheible Jr Rhonda, Daughter, Karla Kristine Cook Robbie. Brothers: Fred Scheible Mitzi, Glen Scheible Libby. Sisters: Sharon Porter, Gayle Howard Barney, Neta Scheible, and Amy Krause.

Grand Children: Kristopher Evans Candy, Zachary Evans, Shawn Bradley, Kymberleigh Snyder Chris, Courtney James Adam, Danon Edwards, and Hailey Criswell.

Great Grand Children: Macey and Miley Gabrel, Nathaniel Evans, Emma Evans, Damian, Chris Jr and Mattalyn Snyder and Jesse and Charlie James.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Scheible Jr, Kristopher Evans, Zachary Evans, Shawn Bradley, Chris Snyder and Adam James.

The family of Kenneth Scheible wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Harry Kim and the Hospice House of Odessa.
