Kenneth Smith, Jr.

Kenneth L. Smith Jr., 66, of Odessa, passed away November 20, 2018.

Kenny was born in Knox City, Texas to Kenneth L. Smith Sr. and Francis Sue Smith on October 17th, 1952. He attended Permian High School, Southwest Texas State University and graduated from UTPB. He worked in sales for a home and car audio company for over twenty years. Eventually he retired from the Odessa Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Membership Development. He coached Little League baseball for fourteen years and was extremely proud to win two city championships along the way. He was an avid golfer and loved Permian and Texas Longhorn football. His love for music was a huge part of his life. He enjoyed traveling and attending concerts with his friends and family. He always loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Kenny is proceeded in death by his parents Kenneth L. Smith Sr. and Francis Sue Smith. Kenny is survived by his son, Cortney Smith, his wife Nealie Smith, grandchildren Lennon Kay Smith and Liam Kenneth Smith. His daughter Kimberly Arrick, husband Jay Arrick, and granddaughter Elizabeth Kate Arrick. Aunt Honey Casey Wilson husband Don Wilson of Abilene, Texas, sister Penny Ward, her husband Jimmy Ward of Abilene, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at The Bridge 3901 E.Yukon Rd in Odessa, with Pastor Donnie Williams officiating.
