Kenneth Edward Williams. 57 years old, Odessa, Texas, passed away on August 18, 2024, in Odessa surrounded by family.
Kenneth Williams was born in Odessa, Texas to Jane Hailes and Edward Lee Williams on February 11, 1967. He went to Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. He married Joy Landfair on September 16, 1992, in Odessa, Texas. He attended New Mexico Junior College on a Rodeo scholarship. He successfully owned his own Internet business- Choice Broadband for the last 10 years. He played varsity basketball at Permian High School and Calf Roped at the collegiate level. He always was excellent at sports, and he loved spending time with his family. He loved watching his daughters play volleyball and his son play golf. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved sharing his hobbies with his dad, brother, wife, kids and grandkids.
Kenneth Williams is preceded in death by his grandparents Eunice and H.P. Hailes of Odessa, RB Williams, Rusk, Texas, Ina Mae Gibson, Odessa, Texas. Aunts: Orpha Lee Bell and Erma Hailes Garrison of Odessa, Texas, Virgina Lewis Miller. Uncles: Joe Hailes of Seminole, Texas, Wesley Hailes of Odessa, Texas, Kenneth Hailes of Odessa, Texas, Larry Hailes of Odessa, Texas, John Wayne Williams. Cousins: Scott Stanfield, Tim Gallas, Buzzy Terrell, Lena Garcia.
Kenneth Williams is survived by his wife, Joy Landfair; children, Tatum Parker, Anna Tess Williams, Jordan Floyd, and Chase Williams; parents, Lee Williams and Jane Hailes Williams; and brother, David Williams; grandchildren, Peyton Kittley, Kaden Floyd, Madilynn Burklow, Dallas Parker, Matthew Floyd, Theodore Burklow; nephews, Ty Williams and Toby Williams; great uncle to Avery Williams, Tanner Williams, Ethan Williams, Natalie William
s, Jaydance Williams, Riley Williams. Aunts: Marge Gallas and Roberta Schulle. Uncles: Cecil Hailes, Herb Hailes, and James Williams. Cousins: Kathy Byers, Kelley Hailes Terrell, Kim Hailes, Lisa Hailes Kirkland, Lura Hailes Cotton, Terry Gallas Hannasch, Debbie Gallas, Tisha Hailes, Shelby Smithee, John Dale Knickerbocker, Melanie Graf Salanitri, Natalie White, Brian Graf.
The pallbearers will be David Williams, Ty Williams, Chase Williams, Cody Floyd, Tyler Parker and Kyle Burklow.

The family of Kenneth Williams wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Kanak Das of UMC Lubbock, Texas for making sure Kenneth had everything he needed for treatment at MD Anderson. Dr. Maria Morelli with MD Anderson, Houston, Texas for her kindness and honesty. Dr. John-Vincent Lim Arcilla, Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista in San Diego, California for making sure Kenneth got home to his family and Home Hospice for going out of their way to make sure Kenneth was comfortable during his last days.
He will be deeply missed by all that knew, loved and worked for him.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. The burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
