Krystal Dawn Gray went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, June 23,
2011. She was born to Tammie Gray and Mike Gray on October 21, 1980 in
Odessa, Texas. She went to Milam Elementary, Bonham Junior High, and
graduated from Permian High School in 1999. She attended Odessa College
and graduated from the Police academy. Krystal enjoyed new adventures
and went sky diving and caving with her dad. Krystal also liked to
travel and was able to go to Spain and Greece. She lived in Santorini,
Greece for six months where she became an experienced diver and received
her certifications. She loved Greece and wanted to move her family
there. She worked at many different jobs including Coyote Beach and
Rockin Q where she met many friends. She went to work for the Hilton
Garden Inn of Odessa in November 2010 and quickly moved up to Director
of Sales. Krystal felt she had found her calling. She planned to use
her training here to move back to Greece and continue working in this
profession. Krystal loved life and tried to live it to the fullest
which brought her many friends from all walks of life as well as all
over the world. Krystal loved her two sons and taught them how to enjoy
life and appreciate the differences in people.
She is survived by her parents Tammie Gray of Odessa and Mike Gray of Fort Davis, her two sons Braden Gray and Kiernan Gray of Odessa, brother Michael Gray and his wife Courtney Gray and two nieces, Kirsten Gray and Rebecca Gray of Birmingham Alabama, Grandfather Monroe Gray of San Angelo Texas and many aunts uncles and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Odessa, Texas on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
