Lajuan Miller

LaJuan Miller, 88, died at Sherwood Place on Sunday, January 4, 2009.

She was born June 26, 1920 in Spur, Texas. Graduated Spur High School 1938. Moved to the Odessa area in 1960, working various jobs before becoming a bookkeeper in 1980 for Southwest Energy where she worked until retiring.

Survivors: Son, Eddie Miller and his wife, Lydia, two grand children, Kipp Miller and Christine Wilkerson. Brother, Clay Wood and his wife, Louise, their sons, Gregory Wood, Jack Wood and Donald Wood.

The service was held at 1:00 PM on January 6, 2009 by Rev Jeanie Williams of First United Methodist Church at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Music was performed on violin by Jody Williams, Music Director of First United Methodist Church. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
