Laura Jean (Campbell) Lee of Midland, TX passed away on July 18, 2017 in Midland, TX.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 6pm-8pm in "Laura's Garden" located at 4708 W Illinois Ave, hosted by her children; Jennifer (Lee) Cooks, Jessica (Lee) Johnson and Jordan Lee.

Laura was born in Arlington, TX to Larry and Gloria Campbell, on July 15, 1961. She was a military child and traveled the country throughout her childhood, until her family settled in Escondido, CA.

She married Terry Lane Lee on May 10, 1982 in Denver, CO. And later became a mother to three beautiful children; Jennifer Nichole, Jessica Lane, and Jordan Anthony. She truly loved building a home, as well as being a wife, and a mother.

Laura is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria McDonagh, her step-father, Chuck McDonagh, her maternal grandmother, Edna Haisch, and her son-in-law, Weldon Cooks Sr.

Laura is survived by her children, Jennifer Cooks, Jessica (Jason) Johnson, Jordan (Angelina) Lee; Her ex-husband, Terry Lee; Her siblings Chris (April) Campbell, Terri (Bob) Rogers; Her father Larry Campbell, and her mother-in-law Billie Jane Lewis; Her grandchildren Jaden and Weldon Cooks II, Saniya, Ellis and Savana Johnson, Urijah Basaldua; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Laura's honor, to the Midland Alcoholics Anonymous chapters; Little House, Serenity and 7-10. They were all instrumental in her recovery and her success in 7 years of sobriety.
