She was born June 26, 1922 in McCombs, Mississippi to Hardy H. Boyd and Anna Alexander Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Ivey.

She leaves behind her son, Jack Ivey; granddaughter, Nikki Ivey; great grandson Spencer Ivey and brother Doyle Boyd.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Odessa, Texas with Curtis Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
