Lawrence Abbott

Lawrence “Red” Abbott, age 86, passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023,        in Odessa, TX.

Lawrence was born in Winifrede, WV, to John & Ada Abbott.  Lawrence moved to Odessa in 1957.  He married Lou Ada Abbott in 1961.  Lawrence spent his career working in the oil field.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his wife, Lou; son, Stephen Abbott.

He is survived by his son, Van Craig Abbott; his wife, Ginger of Lakeway, TX and 2 grandchildren, Zane Abbott of Austin, TX and Brooke Abbott of Lakeway, TX.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Odessa.
