Lawrence Gentles

Lawrence Gentles, age 86, of Odessa passed away Friday, September 9, 2011.

He was born January 16, 1925 in Clark County, Arkansas to Lee Henry and Florence Rhodes Gentles. He married Beulah Armstrong Gentles on March 10, 1993 in Odessa, Texas.

Lawrence was a Veteran of the Army, servicing 3 years. He retired from Continental General Tire after 27 years as top salesman.

Survivors include, his wife Beulah Gentles of the home son Frankie Lee Gentles and wife Ellen of Odessa brother Albert Gentles of Mt. Vernon, IL sisters Mattie Smithpeters of Springville, CA and Maggie Allred of Porterville, CA grandson Donald Gentles granddaughter Sherry Nodine and four greatgrandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00AM Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at First Pentecostal Church in Odessa with Terry Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:008:00 PM Monday, September 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home.
