Lawrence Paul Walsh, 72, of Odessa, TX passed away on April 13, 2020, in Odessa, TX.

Due to the current pandemic we are unable to hold a memorial service at this time. A memorial in honor of Larry will be held at a date to be determined. Per his wishes, he will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread over Possum Kingdom Lake.

Lawrence was born in Dallas, TX to Julia (Judy) and Wilson (Bill) Walsh on October 1, 1947. He went to school in Odessa, TX and graduated from Permian High School in 1966. He was very proud to have been a player on the Permian football team that won the first state championship in 1965. He also played baseball for Permian. Throughout his life he worked as a machinist, golf professional, electrician, salesman, and held various oilfield positions. He was an avid golfer and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was a proud member of the Patriot Guard. His hobbies included scuba diving and being an umpire and referee for various sports organizations.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his father, Wilson (Bill) Walsh, and his mother Julia (Judy) Walsh.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Diana McCaslin, of Odessa, TX; daughter, Anissa Hall and husband Sean of Frisco, TX; daughter, Tiffani DeLaRosa and husband Ron of Odessa, TX; daughter, Danielle Milton and husband Wesley of Odessa, TX; daughter, Shera Pilkington and husband Buddy of Odessa, TX; daughter, Kimberly Tate of Midland, TX; son, Jason Walsh of Zion, IL; and daughter Devon Walsh, of Zion IL.; sisters, Katherine Walsh Carrigan of Grand Rapids, MI and Tina Walsh of Irving, TX; brothers, Michael Walsh and wife Barbara of Kyle, TX and Lance Walsh of Irving, TX; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family of Lawrence would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone that has shown us support over the last few months.
