L.C. Davis, Jr.

L.C. Davis Jr,.92, of Odessa,Texas, passed away on December 29, 2024 in Odessa, Tx. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday January 13th at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jimmy Braswell, officiating. Burial will follow in the garden. 

L.C. was born in Winters, Tx. to “Red” and Vera on December 15, 1932. He grew up in the Hendrick Home for Children in Abilene, Tx. He married Faye Roberts on August 5, 1953 in Fayetteville, N.C. He is a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Army. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4372. He purchased the Diamond Shamrock lease in 1970 and worked there at 419 N. Dixie six days a week until his death. 

L.C. is preceded in death by his parents L.C. “Red” Davis Sr. and Afton and wife Helen King Davis. 

L.C. is survived by his children: Holly Davis Kofod, Pamela Kaye Davis, Lisa Carol Davis; stepchildren: Ray and Carlton Bench and Sherry Garcia; siblings: Roy Davis of Merkell, Bill Davis and Debbie West of Odessa; grandchildren: Matthew and Lucas Garcia and Maggie Carlisle and several great-grandchildren.
