Lenard Lee Hinson, at the age of 88 was welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord on March 5, 2017, where he is safe in his arms, now and forever. Lenard worked in the oil fields throughout the United States for Tom Brown Oil until his retirement. After retirement, he and his wife Gloria owned and operated the Double H Mobile Home Park in Gardendale, Texas.

Some of his life pleasures were hunting, fishing, gardening, watching birds, telling his many life stories to all that would listen, and attending the Hinson Family Reunions. He loved the mountains of Ruidoso, New Mexico and would spend hours looking at the Sierra Blanca Mountain from the big picture window of their log home. He was a true & loyal fan of "his" Permian Mojo Football team and devotedly attended each Friday night game and when he could not attend, he would listen to the game on his radio.

Lenard is preceded in death by his parents Ida Mae (Ratliff) and Sam Millard Hinson, his wife Gloria Maria Hinson, his son David Hinson, and his brothers & sisters; Mildred Viola Hinson Gilmore, Dora Adell Hinson Jackson, Ollie Mae Hinson, Mary Pauline Hinson Gilmore, Maudie Lometa Hinson King, Sam Millard Hinson, Jr., Ona Faye Hinson Goree, Ralph Dale Hinson, and Frank Edward Hinson.
